The Host
The Host has been in theaters for a few days now, and is a must-see!. It is about Wanderer, an alien who has lived on many planets, who takes over the body of Melanie. Melanie is considered a host for this alien. Wanderer thinks she's in complete control of her new body, but she soon finds out that she is not alone. Melanie still lives in her mind and she often talks to Wanderer. Wanderer soon finds herself acting and thinking like Melanie. The Host is based on the book "The Host" written by Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Saga. The Host is considered her first "adult-like book". If you want to read the book, I suggest you see the movie first, so that you get a better idea of what the characters look like, and where the story is going. Plus, since the book is always better than the movie, you won't be disappointed with the movie if you haven't read the book yet. I am currently reading the book, and so far, the movie was quite accurate to the book. It is a great love and adventure story, good for all ages, but will appeal more to teenage girls. My dad looked like he was in pain the whole movie, so it's the kind of movie that you will have to drag your father, husband, or boyfriend too. I loved the movie, and hopefully you will too. So watch, enjoy, and be happy!

Rare TV Series Post: Supernatural
I got into Supernatural about a month ago and I just have to post about it. Supernatural has been going on for while, and the show is on its 8th season now, but it is still worth it to watch from the beginning. Supernatural is about two [very attractive] brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, who have been hunting the supernatural for years. They hunt vampires, demons, shape-shifters, werewolves, and basically anything supernatural. They travel around the country in a 1967 Chevy Impala following omens and odd news that may possibly related to the supernatural. This show is very addictive, and seasons 1-7 are on Netflix right now. It is worth the time and effort, but if you have a life, you will lose it to this show. Prepare for long Supernatural marathons on Netflix, and having no friends for a while, unless you get your best-friend hooked on the show like I did. It will forever be your favorite show! Warning: Watching Supernatural will cause an intense love for Jensen Ackles(Dean) and Jared Padalecki(Sam). You may even want to make a Pinterest board about them. P.S: Dean is on the left in the picture, and Sam is on the right. Watch, Enjoy, and love Supernatural!

Life of Pi
The Life of Pi was recently released on DVD after being in theaters for quite a while. The Life of Pi is based on a book, and is one of the most praised movies of 2012, and 2013. It is about a young boy, a quite odd young boy named Piscine. Piscine lives with his mother, father, and brother. His family owns a zoo, so he has been around exotic animals for a while. He was constantly teased about his name, which is also the name of a french pool, so he spend a whole day trying to get his fellow students to call him "Pi" not Piscine. In order to earn his new nickname, Piscine learns and writes hundreds of the numbers of Pi, π. Because of his extraordinary ability to remember the numbers of Pi, he earns his nickname. Pi's name is not the only odd thing about him. He practices multiple religions at a time, well at least he tries to. Pi is a very curious boy when it comes to the way people act, and why they act that way. One day, his family is forced to sell their zoo due to money shortages. They begin their trek to America on a Japanese ship with their animals. On the 1st night of their trip, there is a huge thunder storm, and the ship goes down. The rest of the movie is about Pi, fighting for survival all alone. The Life of Pi won four Oscars, and numerous other awards from awards shows that don't come on TV. The Life of Pi was praised for it's mind-blowing graphics, and great developing story line. I thought the graphics were amazing, but the story was quite sad to me, because I am an animal lover. It saddened me to see the animals on the ship suffer. If you did not see The Life of Pi in theaters, it is just as great at home, especially if you bought the DVD in Blu-Ray. It is a must-see for everyone. So watch, enjoy, and be happy!
