How to Really Enjoy a Movie Day

Movie days are a lot of commitment. A movie day is not just watching one movie then switching to today. You have to commit to it. Don't try to orchestrate a movie day on a weekday, weekends are the best. First, spend a day cleaning the house, so you don't have to stress about the mess around you, or even just clean the family/movie room.Next, chose the movies. Pick a movie series to get into!Or, if you want to watch a scary movie, it's best to chose a romantic comedy to watch afterwards, especially if you get spooked easily. Everybody loves a rom-com anyways, right? After you chose your movies, buy some snacks. Popcorn, chips, and candy are perfect snacks for a movie day. Sandwiches are great if you want to eat an actual meal. Lastly, round up the snacks, the family, and the remotes. Put on the movies then watch, enjoy, and be happy!
P.S: Movie days are even fun by yourself, just buy less snacks, so you don't have the temptation to eat a family-size bag of doritos and a package of oreos.

MP& The Holy Grail, French taunting-Hilarious

My favorite part of Monty Python and The Holy Grail.

Monty Python and The Holy Grail

I've watched this movie so much that a witch came and turned me into a newt...well, I got better! If you haven't seen this movie yet, I will warn you that it is not for the serious people, or the literal people. You have to be open for anything, especially stupidity. You may not like it at first, but if you still don't like it after 30 minutes, I suggest you just turn off your TV and walk away. At least give it a chance, and hopefully you won't regret watching it. So watch, enjoy, and be happy. Try not to lose to many brain cells, cinigits!

Rate: 9 out of 10, because I'm into that silly 13-year old boy stuff.

For The Movie Buffs

The most important dates in 2013...some may change though

Warm Bodies Preview

EXCITED??? SO AM IIIIII!
Les Miserables preview, as promised

Les Miserables

I saw Les Miserables in the theater a week after it came out. I was actually surprised at how entertaining it was. All of the actors sang pretty well, but honestly....Russell Crowe should stick to acting. If you haven't seen Les Miserables yet, it's a movie perfect for theaters, except for one flaw: you can't pause the movie when you have to use the bathroom. So I will warn you, go to the bathroom AT LEAST twice before the movie starts, since it's about 3 hours long, or you will regret it. Les Miserables is a movie for Kids over 13, because it does have one slight sex scene, and the concepts dealt with would not compute in the mind of a child any younger than 13. So watch, enjoy, and be happy. ..Maybe not happy, but be prepared to cry!
P.S: there are so many story lines in the movie, so I can't really explain the plot without rambling on forever. Hopefully the trailer will help.

Rate: 5 out of 5!

A Little About Me

My name is Kayleen, and I'm obsessed with movies. Most girls my age are crazy about One Direction and 16 and Pregnant. I'm the odd one out. My obsessions are movies, dogs, Josh Hutcherson, and Call of Duty.
My goal is to see a new movie every weekend and write about it on here! I want them to mostly be new movies in theaters or recently released to DVD, but I will still write about movies after I watch them for the first time. I like any movies, of any genre.

Some random facts about me:
-The only celebs I want to meet are Ellen DeGeneres, Josh Hutcherson, and Jackie Chan.
- I'm pretty good at school
- New Orleans is my favorite city
- I watch 3 Tv Channels: ABC Family, Nat Geo Wild, and Animal Planet

That's basically all about me, I'm a simple person, really.
P.S- If you want to recommend a good movie, I will watch it and post about it!
Pitch Perfect preview for those who haven't seen it yet!

Pitch Perfect

I recently saw Pitch Perfect on DVD. I thought it would be somewhat of a spoof of Glee, but I was wrong (that tends to happen). Pitch Perfect was a hilarious, musical type movie, without all of the cheesy lines that make up a musical. Pitch Perfect is basically about a talented girl who, in order to get her dad off her back, attempts to make some friends by joining an a Capella group. She realizes that these girls are her only girl-friends, and makes bonds that will never be broken. If you haven't seen Pitch Perfect yet, you must. I would recommend kids over 13 watch it, purely because anyone younger wouldn't understand it. So watch, enjoy, and be happy. Be ready for the songs to be stuck in your head!
