The Lucky One - Girls' Weekend Movie #2

The second movie we watched at our Girls' Weekend  was The Lucky One (there seems to be a Nicholas Sparks theme). The Lucky One is about U.S Marine Logan Thibault, played by adorable Zac Efron, who finds a picture while in combat, that saves his life multiple times. He survives 3 tours in Iraq, and feels that he owes the girl in the picture thanks for being his lucky charm. He walks from Colorado to Hamden , Louisiana( though it's Hampton, NC in the book) to find the girl, after he finds out that the lighthouse the girl is standing in front of is in Hamden. He finally finds the girl, named Beth Green, who has a son, and a crazy ex-husband. The rest of the story is about Logan and Beth's developing love, Beth's creepy Ex, and Logan's trouble telling Beth about why he is really in Hamden. The Lucky One is the only Nicholas Sparks story that won't have you crying, which is good. It is a little too new to be on channels like ABC Family, but it is on HBO. You can also rent it at Red Box, like I did. It's one of my favorite movies, and it's a bonus that Zac Efron is in it! So Watch, Enjoy, and Be Happy
Rate: 10 out of 10! Once you go Zac, you never go back

The Notebook trailer

The Notebook - Girls' Weekend movie #1

I just had a girls' weekend with my friend, my mom and my sister. We watched the Notebook first. The Notebook was first a book, and is the famous story of forbidden love, written by Nicholas Sparks. Noah falls in love with the rich girl, Allie. And of course, Allie's parents don't approve. They have to jump over many hurdles, but, like in all Nicholas Sparks movies, love prevails. The Notebook is an uplifting love story, that will make almost anyone cry, but a good-kind of crying. The Notebook is perfect for a Girls' weekend, or any weekend really. It is an older movie, so it comes on channels like ABC Family frequently. It's worth the watch. So Watch, Enjoy, and Be Happy!
Rate: 9.5 out of 10, only because Allie's parents are super annoying

Wreck -It Ralph preview

Must Watch!

Wreck-It Ralph

Wreck-It Ralph was one of the best animated movies of 2012. It is about the Ralph, the bad guy in the game Fix-It Felix,Jr. Ralph becomes tired of being considered the bad-guy, and getting no recognition at all, that he leaves his game to go to other games in search of a gold medal to prove that he is no longer the bad guy. He finds himself in games that are the equivalent of what we call Halo, and Mario Cart. Wreck-It Ralph is hilarious, adorable, and perfect for all ages. It is especially perfect for those who are kids at heart! You can buy Wreck-It Ralph, or rent it at Red Box. It's worth watching, even if you aren't into the animated movies lately. So Watch, Enjoy, and Be Happy!
Rate: 10 out of 10. (It's adorable)

Breaking Dawn Part II trailer

Trailer. DVD released on March 1st..get it now!

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II

We just bought Breaking Dawn part II, and  it's a great movie. I'd already seen it in theaters but at home it was just as great. This is a continuation of Edward and Bella's great romance after they have a child and Bella is turned into a vampire(this all happened in the very end of Breaking Dawn part I, by the way). In Part II, the Volturi(the equivalent to kings in the vampire world) come to Forks,WA to destroy the Cullens since they think Edward and Bella's child is an Immortal Child, child vampires who left a huge scar on the vampire world. Breaking Dawn part II is, in my opinion, the best of the Twilight Saga movies. The books were all amazing, but the movies did not portray the romance as well as the books did, except for in Part II. This movie was a lot like the book, which I like. Plus, there is a twist. For those that haven't seen it yet, you will freak out at the twist, I promise you that. So if you haven't seen it, I'm sure it's at Red Box, but don't wait for it to go on Netflix... you will be waiting for a while. So watch, enjoy, and be happy!
